Birthday Cupcake Tower

Made this cupcake stand for my friend's birthday (my first covered stand :) ). There are 25 cupcakes in total in 3 different flavours. Cosmo, Bailey's Bombshell and Strawberries and cream.

This is also my first cupcake stand! I made it following the instructions from Cake Journal. It's was pretty easy and lots of fun. I think i had more fun making it than baking the cupcakes :)

This was kind of an accidentally put together cupcake. I made chocolate cupcakes last week without really thinking what I wanted to do with it. Then I made hazelnut praline just to see what it would be like. The praline turned out to be really hard (not creamy like i imagined) kind of like really thick peanut butter... i think i did not put enough cream, but i was yummy anyways.

So I didnt really know what to do with either of them because the praline was so stiff... so over the weekend i had the idea that praline would go good with chocolate mousse... and maybe my misc chocolate cupcakes... et volia! my latest random cupcake creation.
